As a psychotherapist for more than 25 years, she is a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and holds a state license in counseling. She is an ordained minister and has been a co-founder of Faithwalking, Missional Marriage and Ridder Church Renewal (now known as Churches Learning Change).
With Jim Herrington and others, she is an author of The Leader’s Journey: Answering the Call to Personal and Congregational Transformation as well as Learning Change: Congregational Transformational Fueled by Personal Renewal.
She has been happily married to Craig, a pastor, for 33 years. They have two adult children, Andrew and Rebecca.
