Having Trisha Taylor as a coach has really helped me to thrive in life and in ministry. She’s helped me navigate challenging interpersonal situations while also setting and meeting significant life goals. If you want to have a more fulfilling and spiritually deep life, I highly recommend working with Trisha. You and your ministry are absolutely worth the investment.

    The Rev. Ann M. Kansfield

Pastor of the Greenpoint Reformed Church

I highly recommend Trisha Taylor as a professional coach. Our pastoral team has been coached by both her and Jim Herrington for years. Much of our growth in defining and living into our espoused cultural and congregational values can be attributed to their leadership and coaching. Additionally, I’ve received individual coaching from Trisha for the past several months. I appreciate how well she notices what I miss and works to fill the gaps, the intentional and thoughtful questions she asks, and how she is willing to share vulnerability from her lived experience. Further, Trisha is clearly well-versed in helping people and organizations to apply Family Systems Theory. She’s coached both the team and me to lean into real transformation as we become aware of and, where necessary, change, how we show up in our many different roles in church and in life. This work towards emotional health impacts not just our team and tasks, but ripples out to our friends, family, and congregation. We’re better because of working with Trisha, and we’re grateful.

Ministry is hard. It should be. Pastors are called to show up for people in their most vulnerable moments and shepherd people toward a fuller life in Christ. This is important work. With so much change in my congregation, in my role, in my own understanding of what it means to lead, coaching with Trisha has become an essential spiritual practice for knowing who I am and how God has called me. Trisha provides insight, guidance, accountability, and encouragement. When I don’t know what to do, Trisha (and The Leader’s Journey podcast) is a teacher, connecting me with resources and new wisdom. When I am unsure which path to take, Trisha is a thought-partner, offering suggestions and inviting me to consider other perspectives. When I am aimless, Trisha calls me back to the promises I’ve made (like honoring the Sabbath and maintaining professional boundaries). And when I’m lost, Trisha offers compassion and support. Each session is unique to what I’m facing; and builds on prior learning. I am a better pastor because of Trisha.

    The Reverend Gregory R. Morisse

    Pastor and Teacher

The Plymouth Church in Framingham – United Church of Christ

Trisha has profoundly influenced my approach to employee communication, conflict resolution, and stress management. Her guidance has effectively reshaped my problem-solving methods both in professional and personal spheres. Through her coaching and tools, I have gained the confidence and skills essential for successful communication, administrative decision making, and balancing the emotional toll of being career driven and a present mother.
